European Windows

Windows
The European Way

One Handle.
Two ways to open

European Windows builds custom uPVC windows in the European tradition and sells and installs them nationwide. Our signature tilt & turn windows use a dual-function handle: turn it one way and the sash tilts inward from the top for secure ventilation; turn it the other way and the window swings fully open like a door, for easy cleaning and maximum airflow. It’s the standard window design across Europe — and one that few U.S. manufacturers offer.

Two Frame Systems

Choose the profile that fits your project.

Classic 70

5-chamber · double-pane standard

Classic 82

6-chamber · triple-pane standard

A deeper 82 mm profile with a center seal across three sealing planes for even better insulation. Triple-pane glazing comes standard — built for the highest performance.

The European tradition

The Specifics

Engineered end to end.

Rigid uPVC frames and sashes reinforced with galvanized steel inside the profile — 1.5 mm wall thickness in both frame and sash, at every size. Steel adds strength and resists warping; vinyl keeps it low-maintenance. Exterior wall measures 3 mm to RAL Class A standard.

Frame U factors from .14 down to .16 BTU/h·ft²·°F, with sound-insulation ratings from Class II up to Class V — windows that noticeably cut outside noise.

Gretsch-Unitas Uni-Jet hardware with a 100 kg sash load capacity and perimeter locking standard on units from 900 × 900 mm and up, plus a security tilt catch as standard. Corner and sash bearings are fastened through at least two profile walls and screwed directly into the steel reinforcement, not just the vinyl. Enhanced burglary resistance up to RC2 available as an upgrade.

White plus woodgrain and solid foil finishes — golden oak, walnut, mahogany, bog oak, basalt grey, anthracite grey, ruby red, brilliant blue, and more — with the full VEKA Spectral color range. 41 options in all. Interior and exterior can differ.

Frequently Asked

Window Questions

A dual-function handle lets the window tilt inward from the top for ventilation, or swing fully open like a door for cleaning and full airflow. It’s the standard window design across Europe — valued for a tight weather seal, easy cleaning, and being able to leave the window cracked open securely.

A uPVC frame with galvanized steel inside the profile (1.5 mm wall thickness in our windows). The steel adds rigidity and keeps the frame from warping over time, while the vinyl keeps the window low-maintenance and energy-efficient.

Our Classic 70 frame rates as low as 0.88 W/m²K (≈ U-factor 0.16) and our Classic 82 frame as low as 0.79 W/m²K (≈ U-factor 0.14) — roughly three to four times better than pre-1990s windows. Triple-pane glazing is standard on Classic 82 and available on Classic 70.
