Roller Shutters & Retractable Shutters    Today, roller shutters are the most practical way to secure residential and commercial buildings. In addition, a roller shutter can be installed on any existing window or door. More and more homeowners are discovering the benefits a roller shutter has to offer. Made from Aluminum or PVC, the shutter rides in tracks mounted on the side of the window. The shutter can be raised or lowered either manually, by pull strap or a gear/crank handle, or electronically.


   The all in one window unit contains both the roller shutter and retractable screen. Also available is a combination of the window and a separate roller box, containing the roller shutter and/or retractable screen. Both combinations are available in all sizes, and offer the newest technology in design.

   Dade County Tests were conducted on windows and extruded aluminum roller shutters. Tested by an Independent Test Laboratory in Orlando, Florida.

   When fully rolled down the roller shutters provide protection from heavy winds, rain, hail, snow, and the sun.
