TECHNICAL
DESCRIPTION
System:
Profile testing in accordance with RAL quality symbol G 716/1.
Material:
Multiple-chamber profile of hard PVC in accordance with DIN 7748, frame material
accordance to DIN 4108, profile depth 70 mm, outer wall thickness 3 mm.
Reinforcement:
Galvanized steel, thickness 1.5 mm, in frame and sash in all window sizes.
Seals:
External seal and inside seal APTIK (EPDM)* material, continuously bonded: glass seal in
the glass strip, miter cut from APTK (EPDM)*.
*APTIK - EPDM
The abbreviation APTK stands for ethylene propylene terpolymer
rubber;the international name is EPDM (ethylene propylene dienne terpolymers).
The material has found more and more uses recently, including sealing
elements for windows and doors.
Drainage:
Front chamber drainage is added according to regulations. The glass is also ventilated in
a manner that allows it to retain its insulating properties.
Hardware:
European-developed SIEGENIA! Intruder resistant hardware is used for
all sizes of windows and doors. In standard production, the fittings are attached through
two partitions (corner mounts and sash fittings are screwed into steel) making them even
more resistant to prying or breaking open.
